Recommended USB sticks
Best overall option:
SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.2 (64GB or 128GB)
- 64GB is sufficient for this video
- 128GB is optional if you want extra space for future use
- Prices may vary depending on retailer
- If choosing another brand, make sure it is USB 3.0 or 3.2 for smooth playback of the 4K version
What size USB do I need?
- For this video, 64GB is enough and is the recommended size for most people
- 128GB is optional if you would like extra space for future use
- If you are buying the SanDisk Extreme Go above, the 64GB version is a good choice
Preparing your USB
If you are copying the video onto your own USB stick, it is important that it is formatted correctly.
On a Windows computer:
- Insert the USB stick into your computer
- Open “This PC” or “My Computer”
- Right-click on the USB drive
- Select Format
- Choose exFAT as the file system
- Click Start to format
On a Mac:
- Insert the USB stick
- Open Disk Utility
- Select the USB drive
- Click Erase
- Choose exFAT as the format
- Click Erase
This allows large video files to copy and play correctly.
If the USB is not formatted as exFAT, you may have issues such as:
- The video not copying to the USB
- The video not playing properly on your TV
If you are unsure how to do this, I can set it up for you — just contact me above.
Important
Avoid very cheap or unknown-brand USB sticks.
They are often unreliable and much slower than advertised.
Stick with brands like SanDisk or Samsung.
How to watch on TV
- Insert the USB into your TV
- Open the media player
- Select the 1080p file
- Try the 4K version only if your TV supports it
